Track Results

Contact Beacon's sophisticated results tracking and reporting gives you real-time access to both summarized and detailed results. These help you identify which messages get the best results, which links are of interest to recipients, and which contacts are taking action or are showing interest. It also takes you one step beyond just reporting: it allows you to create new contact lists based on responses to a previous message.

Track Results

Tracking includes:

  • # to Mail: View the total number of emails that were on the contact list(s) for this delivery
  • Mailed: View the total number and percentage of emails that were actually sent
  • Opened: View the total number and percentage of recipients who opened your email. Drill-downs show which contacts opened the message.
  • Click-Throughs: View the total number and percentage of recipients who clicked a link your email. Drill-downs show which contacts clicked through on the message and also show click through performance in these areas:
    • # of times message was opened by recipient
    • website hits by recipient
    • # of times the recipient clicked on each link in message
    • total number of link clicks

    All URLs placed directly in your messages will be tracked automatically. If you wish to track the recipients further as they proceed to other pages on your website, we will provide your webmaster with the HTML tracking code that can be put into each page that you wish to have tracked at no extra charge.

  • Did Not View: View the total number and the percentage of recipients who did not view your message. Drill-downs show details of email address opt-outs, bounces and who did not view the message.

Advanced TrackingAdvanced Tracking Features:

  • Export Results: View our detailed tracking reports online, or export tracking metrics to spreadsheet format for analysis, segmenting and building custom reports.
  • Email the Results: Schedule a date and time for the results to be sent via email to someone. Use this to automatically receive summaries, or to remind yourself to set up subsequent events.
  • Create New Contact Lists from Results: Upon viewing results, you can create a new contact list based on recipient behavior. Create new lists for those who click through, open or have no response to a message and use those lists for future sends.
  • Send Another Email Based on Response: Upon viewing results, you can immediately send a new message to those who clicked through, opened or had no response to a message.
