Surveys

Use Contact Beacon’s survey feature to obtain replies or to gather information directly from message recipients, automatically respond to their replies and view or download the summarized results.

• Create Links to Your Survey in a Message: Create a message in Contact Beacon, and include a link for recipients to reply to your message. For example, you may send a message that is an invitation to an event, and ask recipients to accept or decline the invitation. All responses will be tracked and are available to you in Contact Beacon.
• Create a Web Page to Gather Information: Create an HTML web page (hosted within Contact Beacon) that contains the information you want the recipient to see when they hit the ‘reply” link in your message: this may include any instructional information and the data fields that you define for capturing the recipients’ replies. For example, this page may show more information about the event being held, and will ask the person who views the page if he/she is able to attend the event or not, giving “Yes” or “No” reply buttons to press.
• Create Confirmation Web Pages: You may create follow-up web pages which appear depending on the recipients’ survey answer. For example, you can create an “offer accepted” page containing a “thank you” message and event details and an “offer declined” page that may say, “Thank you for your reply.”
• Create Confirmation Emails: You can also create confirmation emails which will be sent to contacts automatically as soon as they fill out your survey. Depending on the survey response, different email confirmation messages can be sent.
• View Survey Results: Just as you can track the results of email events in Contact Beacon, you can also track the results of surveys. You can view the open and click-through results for your message. For recipients who clicked-through to the survey page, you can see summarized counts for each survey response and drill down to see the actual survey response for each contact. Survey responses can be downloaded for use outside of Contact Beacon.
